The little jewellers (Marina's) opposite Waitrose has closed and the rip-off bastards at Timpsons want about £15 to fit a battery to a watch that isn't even worth that! My Dad was a brewery foreman for Hammertons in Stockwell in fact we lived across the road from the brewery.
I beleive he worked there for most of his life at least 40 years.
In my Dads writing in this little book I have, he's written his name HENRY CHARLES TAYLOR 51 ZENNOR RD BALHAM under his birthdate JUNE 23 1894. I think that's where my parents lived after they married.
Don't know if this is shedding any light for you to follow, but I'm sure glad you enjoy a challenge you have one here.

Hello,

I'm looking to garage share with someone (or a couple of motorcyclists ) to rent a garage in Balham. £130pcm is a bit steep on my own, but I'd be happy to split the cost between a couple of us or more. This is owing to my motorcycle getting tampered with on more than one occasion.

There are garages to rent on Boundries Road and in other local areas.

I'm 100% trustworthy as a 'sharer' and I'd be doing no mechanical work - just storage.
