Cheers Karen Post reply -->London cycling Karen Conway 17 Jun cycling Hit a wing mirror in rain, am I at fault?It's a dark rainy, slippery night, and as I pulled up to a stop I hit the left wing mirror of a car that was close to the curb (even though the street had designation for a cycle lane from what I could see). The glass of the mirror came agar so the driver flagged me down for my details, which I gave. Am I at fault or will insurance take weather conditions of roads and poor visibility into account? And what should I reasonably expect to happen next? Any advice or testamonials from past experience would be much helpful...even if only to know that it's happened to others. Thanks Y. They didn't get the front wheel so chances are if you've seen a bike advertised and the front wheel is remarkably different than the back then its stolen. Its an older model with lots of scatches on the back of the bike, the back red light does not work. there was a reflector missing on the back wheel. Sounds like a mundane description i apologise but any suspicions or ideas for me, please do get in touch. Many thanks. I train almost every Wednesday eve (Regents Park – 20 to 25 miles) and very early Saturday mornings (St Albans & beyond - 40 to 50 miles round trip and aiming higher). I have to get out early on Saturdays as I’ve got a family and they demand entertainment on the weekends. I’m normally on the road around 6am on Sat mornings I’m 42, not very fit & not fast and it doesn’t come easy to me, but I grind out the miles and eventually achieve my goals.
