Streatham Has anyone ventured into Xinc Bistro & Cocktail Bar(Opposite Police Station)

Has anyone gone into Xinc, the new bar opposite the police station? It looks nice from outside, and I hear it has a downstairs bar. I want to have a party there but every time I walk past there during the week it's not very busy. Can someone tell me what streatham thinks of the bar.Opinions grateful.

Streatham Has anyone ventured into Xinc Bistro & Cocktail Bar(Opposite Police Station)

Yes I've been, it's a nice locale and whilst the staff are really sweet, the management is rubbish - rude, not at all customer focused, and as bars go it's hugely overpriced. A rum and coke was £5. Come on, this is not Soho! Why so expensive? All spirits are served as doubles, like it or not. I'm always keen to support local small businesses and happy to allow mistakes, but when the service is just bad attitude, well let's just say I would never go again.

Streatham Xinc Bar

Hi Val

I like the Xinc bar and have found the staff to be very friendly. They have a poetry night there on Wed 7 July with poets from Apples & Snakes, plus open mic spot.

Streatham The bar is quite the spot

hello, I went to xinc on tuesday and then on a saturday around 3 weeks ago. And I found the drinks quite reasonable. The house rum and coke was £3 and pints are £2. I've been told that they have a nice rnb dj on thursday and friday and on saturday they have a really cool host of house music dj's run by some spanish guys every first saturday which I attended for the cost of £3 at the door. I've been told they have started a drum n base night. I moved into the area from clapham not to long ago, and its's a relief that there are nice places to go locally without having to travel. The bar is really nice and the staff are nice also. The management, I met a guy as I was not dressed right when I went on a saturday as I had trainers on, and they overlooked it. I thought that was very nice, espescially since they have a dress code on weekends. I would reccomend it for a party. Its like cheers on tv, where everyone knows your name and it seems like a meeting place for a lot of streatham resident

Streatham Xinc is HAPPENING get there quick

Xinc is a bar with a huge variety of music and social interest catering for everything from salsa, poetry, hiphop and funk to live music acts. during the week and before 9pm on weekends the jugs of amazing cocktails are only £7.50 and they now do tapas. my friend loves the acoustics in there so much she is planning a gig for her band Second Sense, with the management (who by the way are really lovely). the first night I went in there they were ridiculously busy but still strove to maintain a high level of customer service and every single friend I have taken there (who have been to nice bars all over the world) loved it. GO THERE NOW- we are just about to :) !!!!

Streatham nice but pricey

I have been in there once and there were a couple of others in there too. I didnt go downstairs but think it would be ideal to hire out if upstairs is anything to go by. Because it is not all that busy you should ask to hire the downstairs which i'm sure they will do for for free due to the money they will get from drinks and if its empy upstairs you will probably be able to use upstairs too.

Streatham Its quite the place actually

hello, I moved into the area with my partner about a month ago and since I've lived in the area, I've been to xinc at least a handful of times. the first i went there was on a thursday night where they had rnb and it was a lot of fun where everyone danced and had fun. The staff I found where very nice and friendly and the mannagement which are a brother and sister act are really nice and polite and considerate. The prices are considerable, they aren't soho as earlier stated, but are £3 for house mixes but top shelf mixes are from £5. Now I can't always afford that but it's nice to have a variety which I think they try and provide. The bar is cool and nicely situated and fun. It's great to have a local place that feels like cheers, where everyone knows your name. And there's nothing wrong with having a soho style bar that opens late in streatham.
