Streatham Jogging partner needed!!  

Hi,

I am looking for a jogging partner who I can train with a few times a week. I have just completed a 5k run and i have signed up for a 10k run in October.

I am really keen to get fit and want to start training asap.

Streatham GREAT new fishmongers in Streatham !  

HI all there is a new fishmongers and speciality olive shop at Streatham Hill .. can't think of the name right now, ... it's close to the fish and chip shop but not in the same category ... well worth a visit and hopefully Streatham residents will get behind this independent shop which has bucked the trend and actually opened in Streatham !

Streatham Family Fun Day  

Friends of Streatham Vale Park will be holding a fun day on Sat 20th June. Come and see th eimprovements to our park and have your say on future plans. we will have children's entertainment, stall, charity stalls, boot sale refreshments, magician, facepainting, bouncy castle.

Streatham the greyhound pub  

does anyone remember the greyhound pub in the 1970' s? as I recall it was a themed pub then, and had an Al Capone bar (with coffins as tables...blood splattered walls etc) a bar done out as a railway station, and some other bars too....anyone any more info?

Streatham Streatham Trains  

Sometimes the trains are delayed but I disagree - even if they are delayed if you're at Streatham Common you have options to Vic every 15 minutes and additionals to London Bridge. If you're at Streatham you have the same London Bridge trains plus at least 2 (often more) an hour to Blacfriars. This if far better than some areas of London.

Streatham The Train are really bad..  

The Streatham Trains are really bad becos they come every like 25 min so if u miss one ur late for sure, u have to wait in the frezing cold every morning, alot of them get delayed or cancelled, and if u work or have kids who go to school in central london its really hard...I really think they should make and underground station at streatham...and litteraly everywhere...

Streatham re: trains  

I disagree as well! THere are 3 different stations, all with regular train services & there are lots of buses going all the time to Brixton, Balham and Tooting so it's actually pretty well connected and easy to get into / out of town - even late at night. The Thameslink can get you to North London (Kings Cross) pretty quickly as well....

Streatham Children  

HI, I am having trouble finding a hairdresser in Streatham willing to cut children's hair. Of the ones I have found they want to charge around £16 for a haircut for a 1 year old which seems extraordinary to me given that my postcode is SW16 not sw1 ! Can anyone recommend one please ?
