As for bars... the Fox looked promising when it opened, but the last few times I decided to try going in for a drink, I walked straight out, didn't like the look of the blokes in there and the music was way too loud. I think it is there so you can urinate in it.. hence the smell .. well.. jokes aside.. I believe it was to sort out a 'lengthy' gap between Stratford and ForestGate and the Maryland junction is a good centre point, plus it sounds cool to tell someone you live in Maryland. There are plans to revamp it to serve CrossRail or to either close it completely, we'll have a giant eurostar station, stratford regional, dlr and tube lines and then some empty station that smells of wee...
