Call them on 020 8367 1729. They do NHS and private and they are very very good. Take it from a woman who doesn't like pain. My dentist even called me to see how I was after I had a bad tooth infection and had to have root canal!! There is a Sainsbury's in Winchmore Hill bit it's a bus ride away.  | ^ SOUTHGATE FootieI have lived in and near Southgate for 17 years now and my brother was a football fan. I don't know about a team but there is a sports centre on Winchmore Hill Road and also if you go right down the end of Chase Side (towards Cat Hill roundabout) then there is a football pitch on the right hand side. Maybe worthwhile getting in contact with Enfield FC? They may be on the net or in the Yellow Pages. Its situated on Winchmore Hill Rd N14 6AD which has a swimming pool. Apparently it is quite good as my housemate has just joined it. Post reply -->London SOUTHGATE Jo ^ SOUTHGATE Tubes and TrainsThe tube is not mega busy before 8.30am but after 8.30 it tends to get a bit busy but you can mostly get a seat. The nearest overground would either be Enfield Chase or Winchmore Hill and those trains get absolutely full on a regular basis. Better to take the tube. But beware re fire strikes as they closed the Piccadilly Line for a day cos of the strikes and forgot to warn us poor commuters about it. Post reply -->London SOUTHGATE 6 May ^ SOUTHGATE GPI don't know of a GP in Southgate but the one I go to is in Enfield near Oakwood tube which is a bus ride away from Southgate (Can't remember bus number!) It's Bincote Road Surgery, call them on 020 8366 7371. You can't pre-book an appointment though. You have to call on the day you want the appointment. They are open from 8.15am close at 11, then open again at 4pm and close at 7pm. Post reply -->London SOUTHGATE 28 Jan ^ SOUTHGATE Southgate LivingSOuthgate is generally a nice place to live in. It is normally quite quiet but the people who live in the area are very nice.
