Post reply -->London SOUTHGATE 27 Jun ^ SOUTHGATE Bars and SouthgateI've just moved to Southgate. It isn't really a place for happening bars - the Maze Inn near Oakwood tube is worth a look though. But the centre of London is only a 25 min tube ride and there are regular bus services to places where bars are more numerous, such as Muswell Hill. Southgate has a lot to offer - not least great transport links and lots of parks and green spaces. Its well connected with buses to Muswell Hill, Finsbury Park, Archway and Totenham Hale. Hornsey Train Sation is a 15 minute walk away or 5 minute bus ride away that will have trains going to Welwyn but also Morrgate/Kings X.
