Richmond is a great location, you are pretty much guarenteed a seat on the district line in the mornings to work (which is always good). It is a very safe area, having lived here 6 years and never encountered any trouble I can highly recommend it. Yes there are supermarkets. In Richmond you have a Tesco and Waitrose. Just a short drive away (or 15 min walk from the station) you also have a large Sainsburys. No nightclubs to speak of (unless you include Park avenue) but a taxi home late on a weekend night from Clapham (for example) is about £20. Hope this is of help. Hope that is Post reply -->London Richmond 2 Mar ^ RichmondRichmond is a very safe area. The tube station will take you right into Kensington on the district line. There is an excellent Waitrose and Tesco which are open to quite late. A number of bars and restaurant although there is only night club which is pretty desperate but at least there is somewhere else to go after the pubs.
