A friend of mine and I are running a mixed group book club for people in their 20s and 30s from Wandsworth / Clapham Junction / Putney / Clapham. We are looking for new members (girls and guys), especially more men to have more or less of an even balance. However, numbers are limited. Its fairly a relaxed chilled group. Each member gets a turn to choose a book, anything from classics to science fiction....why? They say not to put ads with no payment or defered payment on here ( however Im sure Ive seen ads for interns and most of the time they arent paid) but since Im looking for a business partner the payment would be a percentage of the company so I hope that is okay. If that suits you, you will fit in fine. The transport links with London are OK - figure 45-60 mins to get almost anywhere in central London. Why not use Google Streetview for a wander around. It has great pubs and night life. I lived off Lower Richmond Road and loved the style of houses around that area. I moved here from Australia and loved it alot. At the end of Putney High Street and over Upper Richmond Road heading towards Southfields it does become more like old council/housing estates however ive had friends live there and its not too bad. A lot of them are sold to independent buyers and are not council owned anymore. There is the Putney overground which can get you into central London in 10 min and then the underfround stations are Putney Bridge and East Putney. The patterns would be simple and Im just trying to get a small collection together. It would be on a sale or return basis to start. So you would have a share in the company and as soon as it made money you would get paid. Im not trying to fiddle anyone here I just dont have any money to invest at present. I would buy the patterns or draw them up I can pattern cut and buy the fabric. I just cant sew. I have marrketing experience so am looking for someone who wants to get in on the first floor of something exciting.
