Marylebone Paddington Street

I've been in 'Bombay Spices' which you can find end of Marylbone High Street and turn left to Paddington Street. This restaurant provides take away food but you'd better go & have a look. Compare price & quality - it's sensible.

Marylebone Indian Takeaway Marylebone

I've lived in the area for ten years and have never found anything better than Cinammon Spice on Glentworth Street (just north of Marylebone Road). Fantastic food, they deliver, and it tastes just like someone's Mum has cooked it. yummy.

Marylebone Cheap and cheerful

I am not sure the two pubs listed below are what you are looking for, but I recommend the two pubs listed below:-

1: "The Beehive", Crawford Street;
2: "The Barley Mow" (?), Dorset Street, which was run by a Geordie.

The last time I drank in either of the above puts was with a pal during the early 1990s when we used attend lectures nearby.

Both pubs had a lovely ambience, a lot of history, sold real ale and good food. Had I lived in the area I would have made either of the above venues my local. But maybe things have changed during the past fifteen years'. The only thing I can suggest is to visit the taverns yourself and make your own decisions accordingly.

As from September, I shall be attending more lectures in the area so I will be reminiscene in "The Beehive" again and will spot the changes, if any.

Marylebone Definitely Marylebone

As far as I am concerned, marylebone will win in this competition. Luxborough St is a great location - good pubs and restaurants nearby, busy roads (so less fear of mugging) and easy transport to everywhere. Why would you want to live anywhere else???!!!

Marylebone Where on luxborough st...

If it's the University of Westminster halls of residence... then maybe you should not choose them.
They have a lovely view, but they are very basic, and generally have an unclean feeling about them.
Still, the area is lovely and great for food, bars & beautiful streets.
