Islington is an interesting and beautiful part of London. Camberwell is also good. It is probably around three miles away or more. To go by bus to Camberwell, which is south of the river, I think you should change at London Bridge, but I'm not sure. You can find out from one of the online journey planners. I think the bus is the best way of getting there.
