The Deerfield Club was formed in the schweppes canteen. My father Harold Jefferys always known as Jeff worked there from 1948 till it finally closed in 1989. It is know a Industrial estate and The frontage is Jem Car a Lexus dealership. The Deerfield Club Relocated to Station road west Hendon and has closed in the last few years. Hope you have luck in your quest. I have fond memories of both schools. I remember the old house and orchard which is where the new school St Davids County is built, where Brent Modern used to be. I lived in Park Road about 200 yards from the school. My teacher was miss McPherson. We lived in Sturgess Avenue and walked through the alley which passed the orchard. The lady who lived in the house by the orchard, was known as the "old witch" and the local kids were scared of her. We went on Saturday mornings to get any apples with "specks". I do recall in Park Road some old derelict cars which we used to play in. Right opposte was a small grocers store, called Newmans. After Algernon Road we went to St Mary's school, at the Burroughs.
