Hi, my name is chris carter,i was born in mordaunt rd, just around the corner from harlesden station. I was born in the front room of number of 70, which was demolished in about 74/75. Does anybody remember me?. My mum and dad were fred and margeret, I found this site by accident, and, it gives me a warm glow to read all the posts as I recognize most of the street names but all of the areas.l went to stonebridge school, both infants and juniors, when the headmaster was mr reilly. Ive got a brother called lee, and a sister called beverley. My friends at the time were alan cousins, billy todd, gary newland, and the cronin family, does anyone remember me?.

Hi Chris
Just found this site. I am your cousin Jackie. My sister is Marilyn, Mum Audrey and Dad was Stan Hallett, we lived at 1 Mordaunt Road before moving to Stonebridge.
I last saw your Mum at my Dad's funeral in 1994. I have lived in Milton Keynes since getting married in 1976. Mum moved here in 2001 and is 87 years old now. Marilyn is living in Pinner.
How are Lee and Beverly? I havn't been back to Harlesden since Nan died, that is when she was living in Amundsen House.
Take care.

Hi my name is Kitty Buckingham. I don't remember your
name; but I lived at number 31 Mordaunt Road for a number of years. I left in December 1965 to come to
Australia. Of late I have become very sentimental to see
Harlesden and the Jubilee clock again. The house my
family shared was with the Stockwells. Hope you remember me; although I am now 75 years old and am
most likely younger than you. I shall be visiting England next year possibly July-August 1917. My email address is  Mail-me  Ps. I meant to say older than you! ha ha. Please email me at winkit123#tpg.com.au Meant 2017 sorry for the blunders.

Hello again dave, you were right not to choose bridgewater as it is a bit run down. Did you know that harlesden has a large south american population now. ? Mainly Brazilians. In my day it was west indians, it must be a wonderful place for muic now.

Harlesden Palermo Rd

My mum left London at the age of 5 years and was born in 1936. They lived in Palermo Rd though she cannot remember where this was except on the outskirts of London. She remembers a bomb exploding in the road just outside their house and having to walk all around the block to get to the infants school. Her surname then was Worboys.  Mail-me
