Hello everyone.
I'm a 39 year old male, looking to join a photography club in Finchley or central London. i have a Nikon D80slr, with no experience whatsoever, but very keen too learn.
If anyone has any information on clubs, I would be very grateful to hear from you.

Hi Tanya,
My name is steve walton and i live in finchley. My grandad was joseph chandler who worked on the cana for Turner Burns who was taken over by robert deards. He worked for them until his death in 1976. he worked pulling the barges with the horses on the grand union canal. he went from their depot at Jamestown road in camden town to watford, cumberland basin etc. when lorries took over from horses my grandad worked as a yard foreman and live in a house at the depot in jamestown rd until he passed away in 1976. we have a photograph of my grandad on the canal with a horse and barge between st pancras way and royal college street in camden town. i hope this e mail generates further discussion on a lost era of london life, steve walton
