East Sheen Builder/Glazier small job  

Hi, I have a reinforced glass roof above a spiral staircase leading to the entrance to my flat, and it got damaged last year. it's about 7ft by 9ft (ish). I'd like to get it ripped out and replaced and made good again, along with a little tidying up of some drains above the roof. bit of an awkward spot for scaffold 9because of the spiral staircase), but only a small area.

East Sheen EAST SHEEN - DOG DAY BOARDING  

Is there anywhere in Sheen or Mortlake that will take our Westie just for the odd day, when we need to be out more than a maximum of four hours? We would like to drop her off first thing and collect latest 7.00 pm.
We would prefer that she wasn't let off the lead on any walk.

East Sheen Are PLANES in East Sheen bad? better than Richmond or the same?  

Hallo,

we are planning to move to East Sheen and bring up our child (possibly children) in the area that seemed really really nice to us.
I am only concernead about planes. We are living in North London at the moment and planes are not an issue..

Could please anyone help and maybe advice on the quietest bits of the area?

East Sheen Planes in East Sheen  

Hi I moved from Hampstead down to East Sheen and yes there are planes and occasionally you do hear an early morning one around 5am but I live up near Palewell common and as the planes tend to come in along the Thames they are quite quiet here.
The modern planes are getting better and better and with no Concord and the phasing out of older noisier cargo planes I should think now is a great time to invest in the area.
At the moment the planes are using the other runways - think this may be down to wind direction? So we have no noise at all.

East Sheen Where have all the planes gone?  

Does anyone know why it has been so quiet in the last 10 days regarding the flight path? Is it something to do with the weather.
We are really enjoying the peace and as newcomers to E Sheen notice that the route has altered a bit.

East Sheen better  

On south side of the south circular it's better than the Norht side. Overall it's better.

In general - East Sheet is further from the Airport, and plane are higher the further back on the flight path. So all good there!
Also, East Sheen to Richmond (as the crow flies) is at an angle to the flight path, also taking you further away from the planes when you move to East Sheen.

Hi my name is Rachel and I am a third year student at Roehampton University living in East Sheen. I am offering services as a babysitter and am available most afternoons and evenings and also two full days a week.

I have had experience working with children before (both as a babysitter and in after school clubs) and am currently being CRB checked, I am enthusiastic and have always had a passion for working with children.
