Bow Anyone for ... tennis?

Does anyone fancy a game of tennis? I'm a 24 yr old girl who hasn't played since leaving uni 3 years ago, so may be a bit rubbish now, but used to be pretty good. I've heard there are courts in Victoria Park that you can book for about 4.00 per hour and reckon it'd be cool to go there one Sunday for a knock-about. Drop me a line at  Mail-me  if you're up for it!

Bow Tennis in Bow

I am a 25 year old tennis coach, moving to bow in a few weeks, is there a tennis scene in the area, i know there are courts at the park but are they any good. Is anyone seriously interested in getting coaching, if so contact me at  Mail-me , im hoping to set up squads of 8-10 people, costing 50pounds for 8weeks of coaching, 1hr per week. Good way to improve your game, have fun and meet people,

Bow interested in coaching

Hi, I'm going to be moving into a flat just south of Victoria Park in September. I would be very interested in some coaching - I'd describe myself as mediocre club standard. Please stay in touch and let me know any opportunities. If you don't set up a group, I'd be interested in one on one if the price was reasonable.

Anyone who's interested in playing tennis, feel free to get in touch.

thanks

Gavin

Bow Bow and Bethnal Green - which do you prefer?

I am moving back to London and would love to hear people's opinions on whether it is safer/more fun/more characterful to live in Bethnal Green or Bow, or if it is much of a muchness. My boyfriend and I are thinking of buying a one-bed there (probably ex-council) and would like to know what people think about the area as it is one of the few we can afford when we move back to London after a period abroad. Also we previously lived in Kilburn, and didn't really like it (unfriendly and unsafe) - is there anyone who can compare the two areas? Any advice is much appreciated, thanks!

Bow

Hi

As an area Bow is a much nicer place to live. If you can afford it Bow Quarter is by far the best place to live!

You also have both underground & DLR to use

Theres so nice pubs around & a good crowd!

Hope this helps

Bow Thanks for all the Bow area info

I love the look of the Bow Quarter apartments, and if I can get a big enough mortgage that would be my first choice. Thanks for the info on Stratford too - it looks interesting and up-and-coming.
Any more info on experiences of living in the Bow Quarter, Stratford or East in general would be great, cheers!
Lucy

Bow Bow quarter

I am researching gated communities for a play(!)
Does anyone live in Bow quarter or know anyone who does? Or do you have an opinion about it? Would you be prepared to be interviewed? By email? It would be an act of altruism - all I could offer would be tickets to said play presuming the theatre who commissioned it thinks I've done a good enough job! This is a long shot I know.

Bow Bathroom / Kitchen Fitter Recommendation

Hi, can anyone recommend a very reliable bathroom fitter who doesn't charge the earth and works to a high standard? I'm really struggling to get a decent recommendation and more importantly a price that I can afford on my part-time salary! I'd prefer a local all-rounder who'll do the job for an agreed price with no hidden extras. I'd be very grateful for any personal recommendations - thanks  Mail-me

Bow Supermarket near Bow Quarter

Your nearest supermarket is the Safeway/Morrison's just off Roman Road, by the Street Market and Learning Centre; this is less than ten minutes walk away. You can also get the S2 bus to the large Tesco at Bromley-by-Bow.

Bow

Hi

I live in the Bow Quarter but am leaving to go travelling soon. Lived here for two years & it's fantastic! The best place to live in East London.

Tesco is your best bet - you can get the Stratford bus from outside the bus garage & it takes a about 5 mins & stops out side Tesco. If you have loads of shopping I usually just get a taxi back, only costs 3.50 which is cool.

If not Safeway is down Roman Road (10 minute walk) It's not as good as Tesco though!

I hope this helps
