Belsize Park Pubs

Steeles pub is a great venue with live music at weekends and a superb atmosphere. Its always packed on a sunday night so you have got to get there early to find yourself a 'plot'. TFI Friday was based on Steeles pub and it has that vibrant feel to it. The decor is great to. The live music is phenomenal,it caters for an ecletic mix. Definately worth a visit. Luckily, once closed and your wither hungry or fancy picking up a few bottles to carry on with your party there is an office/Mexican/chinese place next door. When you come out from steeles turn right and walk to the end of the Parade, there is the amazing place (so amazing that I could not remember the name even having been there a couple of times) its a restaurant on top and there si a bar/ club downstairs. Its very dark/cool with huge sofas for an extra chillout session after a mad weekend... The Tavistock arms is just up the road, soemtimes if your lucky they have a lockin. Especially when Chris Moyles and buddies visit.

Belsize Park The Washington in Englands Lane

The Washington pub has comedy on some nights in the downstairs bit which can be quite good - Harry Hill tests out new material there sometimes. The main bit is rather rugby-ish, but a few local celebs have been spotted in there upon occasion.

Belsize Park

Best Pubs are:
The Magdala by Hamsptead Heath station, Garden Gate near it.
The busiest ( and excllent wine aqnd child friendly in its large garden) is The Freemasons' arms on Downshire Hill,
also the Washington on Corner of Belsize Park Gardens and England Lane.
