Post or Ask something here in 'Bellingham' Bellingham Best Indian TakeawayWe cannot believe that we have such a great Indian Takeaway so close to where we live in Bellingham. 'Baburchi' provides excellent and authentic Indian food that is not only affordable but does not insult those of us who know what Indian food really tastes like. The food is not a watered down version to appease the palates of those who find Indian food to be "too spicy!" Their Tandoori Chicken is absolutely delicious and something that has to be tried with their Pilau Rice. Bellingham has many hidden treasures!!! It's good to know that our park gets recognition for it's contribution to family life in Bellingham. Not only is it a beautiful park to look at and chill out in but, it has wonderful play and rhyming sessions for the "Under 5's." The basketball and football court is shared by people of all ages and has a very inclusive feel about it. It's nice to see children, teens and adults playing together! WELL DONE!!! Post reply -->London Bellingham 4 Oct Should we remove this post ? ^ Bellingham Bellingham is a nice place to live inUpon reading many of the messages that have been posted on this site you could be lead to believe that this is a notoriously crime-ridden place. Please, do not be fooled! I can understand why many people that reside here want to put others off from moving here. They fear that any change may affect the sense of community that is strongly felt here. That (I believe) is the underlying reason why there are some negative postings on this site. Anyway, come and chill out here and see for yourselves!!! It is quite and has a slightly suburban feel to it, we have had no problem with the area. The people are freindly where we live and all amenities such as railway stations and shops etc are on hand. Take no notice of the idiot who says that all of the people carry knives Post reply -->London Bellingham 14 Sep Should we remove this post ? ^ Bellingham Catford/Bellingham: not goodTo be honest Catford town centre is pretty horrendous, with the single exception of Sapporo - a good Japanese restaurant. Bellingham is even worse. Was built for post-war slum evacuees. However if you can find a spacious, nice house with a garden for a good price, transport links are OK so you can always socialise in Central London. Might be worth it. Post reply -->London Bellingham Zane 30 Jun Should we remove this post ? ^ Bellingham BelinghamNot built for "slum evacuees" my friend, it actually housed many families o people who had been bombed out of their homes during the war - NOT slum dwellers ! I worked in the slums of Sth. East Asia voluntarilly for years - do you even know what a slum is .... ??? You sound a little bit too dismissive and high handed !
