Belgravia Ebury Bridge Road, SW1

I'm looking at renting a property on Ebury Bridge Road in Belgravia/ Pimlico. Does anyone know what it's like for noise and safety and what are the night busses like? Also are there many hotels/hostels around (which would mean a lot of tourists and travellers in the area coming and going)? Your advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Belgravia

Belgravia is the best of London, or Hampstead. I lived in both areas for years and in fact have written a book about adventures in these two charming and delightful communities.
Good Luck.

Belgravia Belgravia

During the late 1980s I worked off the Buckingham Palace Road, Belgravia. Despite too many tourists clogging the streets between Victoria railway station and coach station which made it difficult getting to/from work, I thought Belgravia was one London's better areas and I enjoyed life in the district. It was central for all the historical attractions in central; public transport to the coast, etc; and some of the loveliest historical pubs; lovely houses with beautiful architecture - wished I had £3m to spend buying a such a lovely home! Good luck!

Westminster Council produce a large childrens booklet with all the playgroups in. I am a Homedad, in Pimlico, and the following are excellent and safe with pleasant people.

Tuesdays - Holy Apostles Church Hall 2:00-4:00
Wednesdays - Victoria Library (by the Coach Station) 10:30 - 11:30
Thurdays - Napier Hall (Hide Place) 2:15 - 4:00
Fridays - 10:00 The Tate Britain

Hi Natasha, try both St Michael's Church, Chester Square SW1 and St James the Less, both have fantastic mother/carer and baby/todler groups. Welcome to the neighbourhood.

Belgravia

There's several hotels in belgravia. There's the Diplomat Hotel, Sheraton Belgravia, and 2 other bigger ones in the area.

There's also the Sloane Square Moat House Hotel near the tube station.

For a cheaper stay, you can try Belgravia Hotel. I think it's close to victoria station.

Good luck.

Belgravia There arent any

belgravia/victoria/pimlico is generally not very good for lively bars or clubs. Either go up into town or down to clapham (both fairly cheap in a cab) if you want decent night life
