This will involve setting up a Learning Circle by getting a group of people together and leading them in some kind of informal learning. We are offering training and ongoing support in order to help you set up and run the Learning Circles. The definition of a Learning Circle is very broad. You might want to find people to go running with, or be prepared to take a group to an art gallery or museum. You might want to pass on a practical skill like knitting or photography, or you might want to set up a film club or even learn a new language together. It is the Platinum membership which allows you to use all Platinum & Blue Fitness First clubs all over the world. It is a little bit under £45 a month which is pretty cheap as the Platinum membership rate is usually a bit more. The membership is running until October so 8 months left and I'm sure it can be renewed. The person who likes to take the membership, only has to pay £10 administration fee which would usually be £30. I would like to start one for the new year, 12 books in one year. I was thinking of setting up up either on a Sunday afternoon at Starbucks in upper st, as they have big comfy sofas or on a Tuesday evening 7.00PM onwards at Pitcher and piano in upper st. It all depends on what time and date suits people. I will go with the most votes for either of those days. I do think a Sunday after noon book club would be great and a bit different too. Double Rooms are on average in between £ 450 -650 excluding bills and Council tax. Cheaper areas (but not so much cheaper) nearby are Holloway , Finsbury Park (I find it a bit dodgy tho) and Stoke Newington. Beware that the latter doesn't have a tube ....
