 | Acton anybody know the car boot sale in Acton near Horn Lane on the sports ground?I think there had been a car boot sale on Sunday afternoon in the sports ground near Horn Lane and Lowfield Road in Acton. However, last summer I found a notice there to say it had been changed to a new address but unfortunately I don't know where is it now? Can anyboday tell me where is it now? Thanks a lot. There is a massive Asda nearby for your shopping and Shepherd's Bush is 3 stops away for your Halal meat, fish from market etc... I choose to bus from Turnham Green to Acton High st as going past those estate blocks is very dodgy. Nothing has happened to anyone I know yet thank goodness but it is very isolated with lots of dodgy people lurking around. Live in Acton by all means but just don't walk on your own, find a bus route instead. I encourage more people to take that route, the less people who do the less people are left and it gets worse, this is what bad media does to us!Don't be swallowed up by it! It's really well lit and there are usually a few people about including families and children, estates are not full of 'dodgy' people, but less fortunate people who are struggling and just need help, the rejection from society is what turns people. I feel it is such a shame that fear like this is ruling people's lives.
