 | Volunteers Volunteer driver wanted to help us pick up donated goods!Firefly is a children's charity based in the UK (Edinburgh and London) and Bosnia, and registered in Scotland. We've been donated some goods at three locations in London (WC1H 9AJ, N1 9PF and Leytonstone) and would like someone to drive to pick them up with one of us! You won't have to do any lifting. However we don't have a car so you will need to have one (or be able to borrow one). We'll pay for petrol and congestion charge, but can't pay for other expenses (we're all unpaid volunteers as well), however we'll make you a cup of tea if you like! If you contact your local EVS office in Romania, they should be able to help you find and apply for a volunteer place in London (go to http://www.youthnetworks.eu/VolunApply.aspx to find contact details for all the EVS organisations in Romania). With EVS, your food, housing and some spending money is paid for. Normally organisations will not pay for your housing if you volunteer with them, though! So EVS is a really good opportunity.
