I'm looking to set up a film club where we can meet up as often or as little as possible - meet for a drink before and after the film - make some new friends and chit chat about the film. All London cinemas will be entertained as long as transport links are good. Looking for a social group who are up for meeting up week nights and the odd weekend. I'm a guy in my 30s who at times wants to catch a film but friends are for all manor of reasons are busy or just not that into their films - so hence the filmclub. For its special winter series of Drive-In movies, Pinewood has temporarily transformed its unique outdoor water filming facility into the world’s largest cinema screen, sized 73.1M wide x 18.3M in height. This is how it works. We meet up once a month (usually on Fridays) and take it in turn to choose a DVD/video of a film we'd like to share with the group- we watch it and then discuss it! Broad range of tastes within group. Range of ages too. We also contact each other in between meetings and arrange cinema trips (and some other social activities). We're all really friendly!
