my name is James i was born in london in 1974. i put in instition st lawrnce. i write to know if buidling is still open or did it close down. i move america bck in 1992 and still live here. i want know what is like for deaf people in london. i use sign BSL but here in america i had to learn ELS. Deaf DEAF GIRL

I Think I Am Ugly. I Just Want To Be Beautiful Like All The Other Girls. My whole life I've felt ugly. I feel like every girl is prettier than me. I hate feeling like this. I can't stand to look in the mirror because I hate what I see. When I look in the mirror, I realize why no one likes me. I am Muslim and ugly. Very far from perfect. And then I put myself through hell just to feel pretty. I'm so self-conscious about my looks. I don't think anyone could ever love me. I'm tired of hurting myself just to feel beautiful. I'll never be skinny or pretty.. and that kills me inside. I've been through alot and that may be the cause for my low self-esteem. Deaf Deaf Film Project

I'm deaf, I'm an artist, I'm looking for people who can help me to do my project, I want to do a film with long trayectory using the iPhone camera, I want to experiment a movie using iphone, I need three deaf women of mind open because I want to make a film of horror and suspense using the iphone in professional cinematography way. Deaf Looking for a room

Hi,

I am a deaf female, 24 years old, who is willing to learn more BSL. I have done my BSL Level 2 last year. I wish to become more fluent. I am looking for a double bedroom mainly in Wood Green, North London. I need to move by 20th January 2013. My budget is about £550 inclusive.

Deaf Looking for some help.

Hi there,

I am an art student studying at Goldsmiths University in London and am working on a project to do with human senses. I am looking for someone that is hearing impaired and also someone that is visually impaired. This can be severely or more mildly. I will discuss the ins and outs of the project in full detail at a later stage, but will just say for now that it will not effect your daily routine in any way and your identities will be kept entirely anonymous. The project should take about two hours, at a time and date that suits you. All I need are two willing participants to make it happen. It should be fun and for all of us a very interesting experience.

If you could help me in any way and potentially make my artwork come to life then please get in contact.
