Cycling Visting London, Looking for Someone to Ride With.

My name is Yoav. I'm 30 Cyclist, from Israel. I will be visiting London this October (17th-22th) and I'm looking forward to ride in the area a little bit.

I usually ride on trails / cross-country (XC) style. Since I know nothing about good singles and routes in the London area, I would appreciate your help in the manner. If you can direct me to as where I can rent bicycles, where can I cycle & with whom can I cycle with - I will be most grateful.

Cycling SW London Bike ride this Saturday

Anyone around in the above areas for non serious bike rides from the area
i.e. Richmond Park, Bushy Park, Thames to Hampton or Windsor?

I quit smoking a while ago and trying to get fit again so would be nice for some company sometimes.
Not an fanatical cyclist and just use my old eBay mountain bike.

Cycling London Radio Documentary

My name is Matt Homer and I work at the University of Brighton and in freelance media. I need assistance for a radio documentary that I am currently making.

I would like to get in touch with an East London cycling club to interview their members about their experiences of living and cycling in the area. I would also like to talk about the Olympic Legacy and it’s affects on cycling clubs in the area.

I am particularly interested to speak to clubs who have been directly affected by London 2012’s development on the Eastway circuit.

I am in the Capital this weekend (28th of April) and so could speak to any members who were free during this time. If this was possible, I am happy to discuss my ideas in more detail and have included my contact information below.

Cycling Surly Long Haul Trucker with Ortliebs and gear for 500 quid by tommorrow

A very tight schuedule has made me get rid of my touring bike, which may be a very good thing for you. I paid 1000 quid for it back in October, and its in near mint. I've put another 500 quid in gear or so, so this is a pure win whomever can grab it in the next 24 hours.

I catch a flight tomorrow for Nepal, and I need to get rid of my 2011 LHT. I've put about 2400 miles on it since October cycling to Budapest. I thought I could leave it my girlfriends, but as relationships end so does free storage space.

If you wanted to meet me around London Victoria, I would be much oblidged.

Cycling Brompton to sell...

Hey everyone - So am getting rid of my black M3L Brompton complete with official Brompton front pannier bag. I have all the receipts and also registration details with Brompton and several anti-theft registration sites which I can transfer over to you too.

It is two years old but in great condition - just had a full brake and gears service. As in such great nick I would be looking for about £500-550 (it cost about £800).

Cycling Brompton for sale in mint condition

We bought 2 Bromptons. One gets used a lot but the other hasn't been used at all. It really is in mint condition, as new, in a Brompton bag, with original receipt. Blue, 6 gears, Kevlar tyres. New now this would cost about £1000. I'll sell for £700 and give 10% to Oxfam.

Cycling BROMPTON FOR SALE

Hi I have a brompton bike for sale. It was my grans that she
has given to me but being in surrey I stick to my mountain bike as is more practical! I have little knowledge about these bikes but am going to find out the model number. I think there is a slow puncture in one tire but I know u can probably mend yourself. It cycles well and has very loud bell on it!! Extra confortable seat too. I can deliver to London for extra £15

Cycling Racing bicycles for commuting?!

Does anyone else think it's pretty rediculous, inconsiderate, and dangerous to ride a £4,000 racing bicycle without an effective rear fender in the rain in London? Spraying dog crap and road grime all over the riders behind you? Come on now. Did you think about that?

Cycling Visiting cyclist

I'm going to be in London for a week this September and I want to do most of my wandering by bike. Nothing against the tube system but it really screws with my sense of direction. So I was hoping I could get some advice: bike rentals versus just buying a cheap roadie, bike routes, etiquette unique to London, etc. Are there any amateur tour guides out there willing to share some wisdom?
