I would welcome the opportunity to show you London. I live with hear shot of Big Ben.

I am riders/walk leader I am knowledgeable the tourist attraction plus many shortcut in London.

I need to know date of your visit.
How many days you want your cycle tour to last?
Total mileage of cycling day
How long in terms of time for each day
What type of place of interest you want to go to
What type of bike do you have, do mind cycling on unseal surface though some parks
Are you only interest in the central London area or do want to go to outlying area or even into the countryside surrounding London

Cycling recurring valve puncture

i keep puncturing my tyre when pumping it up because the valve stem is rubbing against the hole in the wheel which then slices the stem of the valve. has something fallen off which protects the valve? never had this problem before. Mail-me if you have the probably really obvious answer. thanks

Cycling Peakino Cycle Pump

I now that it migthseem strange but I can't work the Peakino I can 't make it go the valve and then grip the valve. Din't laugh. Anybody can help.

Cycling Racing bicycles for commuting?!

Does anyone else think it's pretty rediculous, inconsiderate, and dangerous to ride a £4,000 racing bicycle without an effective rear fender in the rain in London? Spraying dog crap and road grime all over the riders behind you? Come on now. Did you think about that?

Cycling Visiting cyclist

I'm going to be in London for a week this September and I want to do most of my wandering by bike. Nothing against the tube system but it really screws with my sense of direction. So I was hoping I could get some advice: bike rentals versus just buying a cheap roadie, bike routes, etiquette unique to London, etc. Are there any amateur tour guides out there willing to share some wisdom? Cycling My gut tells me

buy a cheap used dual purpose "roadie" as you put it, and a lock, and go for it. Local etiquette? Stay off the pavement (sidewalks), don't run red lights, to use a headlight and tail light in the dark. Otherwise near as I can tell anything goes. Enjoy!

Cycling Brompton bike wanted

Hi everyone, I'm looking for a second hand Brompton bike (a present for my brother's graduation / birthday).

Anyway, I love him and all that, but can't afford a new one - if anyone has one they would like to sell, let me know (or if you've seen any in a bike shop).

I am really only interested if you've got the manual or receipt, or some other kind of proof of purchase (I don't want to add to the brompton theft craziness of London).

I'm in E17 and work near Liverpool street, but I'm happy to come and collect from just about anywhere.

I hope to cycle in to my new job off Pall Mall but they don't have shower facilities. Does anyone know of anything in the area that I could use. I did look at LA fitness on Regent St but that' nearly £70 per month.

It's London, there's no space, and everything is expensive. I'll be surprised if anyone can offer anything. Personally, I shower before I ride, and I change into my suit in the toilet.

Cycling how to buy the cheapest cycling jerseys i need???

I love cycling a lot,and i also love collecting cycling items,specially for cycling jerseys,but that cost me too much money .But i was too lucky i think ,Last weekend i searched a new radioshack 2011 cycling jerseys from google which is cycle-jersey.net online store.it was too cheap to make me want to have a try .The jerseys arrived last friday,everything was perfect.i love the ppl's service there and i love their shop ,they could offer all kinds of cycling items also customized jerseys for us .

Im looking for a cycling buddy to get out of a weekend and maybe of a evening.

I've posted a add before on here but nothing ;( And quite a few adds on gumtree yet again no one can't be interested in cycling in London?? We'll not to cycle in London otherwise you wouldn't be getting to many miles in (stop-start..Traffic lights every 500 yards) None of my friends cycle and its been a pain trying to find someone that does lol

I'm 27 male from vauxhall, Willing to meet up with someone within 5-7 mile .. A male or Female cycling pal is welcomed. I'm looking to at least get in about 20/30 miles of a weekend but that would be either the saturday or the sunday and less miles in the week due to work the next day.

Cycling Cycling buddy wanted.

I'm just trying to get fit so I've started cycling to work. I'd like to cycle at the weekend as well but want someone to go cycling with. I'm in the Morden area. When I've lost three stone I'll go swimming. At the moment I'm 14.3 so that should give you some idea of what I'm trying to acheive. I'm hoping the friendship will outlast the weightloss.
